Having contacted Xantx with the make and model of the faulty TV and a description of the fault, we should be able to give an estimate cost of repair.
We may request a little time to look at the current cost of the suspected parts required to fix the issue before an estimate can be given.
The estimate will give the customer an indication if they wish to have a free inspection of the fault in order to receive a firm quote.
Xantx do not provide collection or drop off service. Simply put, if you do not consider that it is worth your time to bring the TV in for repair then you will not be wanting to pay for a collection and drop off service, which in almost all cases will exceed the cost of repair.
After taking receipt of the TV, it will be examined to confirm the fault and a firm estimate given. If this is acceptable then the repair will be undertaken.
The work carried out will be guaranteed for a year but will not cover any subsequent unrelated fault.
If it should be deemed that a TV is unrepairable or you choose not to go ahead with the repair there may be an option to accept an offer for the TV for spares. In the event I have a refurbished TV for sale then a higher offer may be given in a part exchange.
